Kuntres Maarat Ha-Lev (The
Cave of the Heart) was the
generator of the Jewish Contemplatives Website and Facebook Page. It was a very short booklet —written in three
days in 2005— when the author (Nachman Davies) was living an intentionally
solitary lifestyle in a cave-house in Salobrena (southern Spain). It became the core of this website’s
message, and the core of a much larger book entitled “The Mitkarevim”
(still in preparation).
